Strategic agreement for corporate portals to increase knowledge management productivity

KPMG Consulting and the corporate portal company LINQ have entered into a collaborative partnership where KPMG is choosing to work with the LinqPortal software to achieve maximum productivity within large enterprises. Personally adapted digital workplaces will mean that it should be possible for companies to make better use of the skills their employees in this field possess and make the flow of information more efficient, i.e. Knowledge Management(KM).

According to information, LinqPortal will be used to "offer a tool which is often lacking in KM work". The aim is to enable customers to get their corporate portals up and running quickly and efficiently, thus making the leap from "knowledge management" to "managing knowledge". The partner agreement will initially cover Sweden, but cooperation in other European markets is planned. The companies have already begun joint sales initiatives in the Netherlands and the UK

"This type of portal means that each employee will have continuous access to the precise information required to carry out their everyday work," explains Michael Mandahl, MD for Linq.
