New alliance to ensure quicker and more efficient information transfer through company portals

LINQ, a Swedish specialist in company portal technology, will by means of a partnership agreement with OnePage of America be able to offer its clients the Portal Builder program for collecting and formatting data. The company claims that this will enable company portals to be supplied more rapidly and efficiently with information. This area of technology is growing fast, and a current Merrill Lynch report estimates a potential market of up to US$ 3 billion in the near future alone.

The recently launched Portal Builder from the USA is designed to give companies a quicker way of updating their portals. The program is able to collect material from any Web site and place the information on to appropriate company portals. LINQ will be offering the program as an additional service to its own established LinqPortal.
Portal Builder is based on a patented technique for content collection. It will help to keep the information in company portals updated, something that both client companies and their employees often depend on.

"The new generation of portals require increased functionality. In particular in order to be able to increase the capability of each individual to convert different types of data into useful and reliable information. Everything the user needs to do the best possible job," says Michael Marubio, Onepage MD.
