An ultra-stable silicon die and isolation diaphragm design from EG&G IC Sensors improves pressure sensor performance and lowers cost. The company reports that, compared to current products, the new Model 86 reduces linearity errors by 50% and substantially reduces temperature errors over the much wider compensated range of -20°C to +85°C

Un progetto di membrana di isolamento e stampo in silicio ultrastabile, di EG&G IC Sensors, migliora le prestazioni del sensore di pressione e riduce i costi. La società riferisce che, rispetto ai prodotti attuali, il nuovo Modello 86 riduce gli errori di linearità del 50% e riduce notevolmente gli errori di temperatura nella gamma compensata molto più ampia da -20 °C a +85 °C.

Un diaphragme d'isolation et un dé de silicium ultra-stable développés par la société EG&G IC Sensors améliorent la performance du capteur de pression et réduit les coûts. La société affirme que, par rapport aux produits actuels, le nouveau modèle 86 réduit de 50 % les erreurs de linéarité et diminue considérablement les erreurs introduites par la température sur la gamme de températures compensées beaucoup plus étendue de -20 à +85°C.
