The new models with integrated hoisting inverter ensure processes are more efficient and faster – thanks to variable hoisting speed and automatic load recognition. The SLX electric chain hoists can be used in standalone applications, such as assembly cells for the processing industry, as well as in workstation cranes.

Sur ce véhicule, la majorité des pièces habituellement fabriquées en plastique ont été remplacées par des biomatériaux d'excellente qualité à la fois sains et durables : UPM Formi et UPM Grada. Ces matériaux peuvent améliorer de manière significative les performances environnementales globales du secteur de la construction automobile. Le concept car Biofore a été développé et fabriqué par des étudiants de l'université Metropolia des sciences appliquées d'Helsinki.

/INS. (UPM, Helsinki, 4.3.2014 09:30 EET) –The Biofore Concept Car showcases the use of UPM’s innovative biomaterials in the automotive industry. The majority of parts traditionally made from plastics are replaced with high quality, safe and durable biomaterials, UPM Formi and UPM Grada, which can significantly improve the overall environmental performance of car manufacturing. The Biofore Concept Car is designed and manufactured by students from the Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.

/INS. (UPM, Helsinki, 27.2.2014 at 14.00) – The first fleet tests of UPM’s renewable diesel proved that UPM BioVerno works in cars just as well as any regular diesel. The fleet tests were conducted by the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. They were started in May last year and ran until early 2014.

/INS. Kemira will invest in an expansion of facilities and a new reactor capable for multipurpose chemicals production at its Telêmaco Borba plant in the state of Paraná in the Southern Region of Brazil.
