Most powerful cordless rotary hammer with SDS plus: New Biturbo hammer from Bosch for professionals

More power than ever for drilling and chiseling:

  • Best power-to-weight ratio in its class.
  • Robust design like an SDS max hammer with high user protection.
  • Optimized control and setting via User Interface and connectivity.

Breakthrough in the 18 Volt class: Bosch is launching the GBH 18V-34 CF Professional, the most powerful SDS plus rotary hammer ever. Its specially developed, brushless high-performance motor is perfectly coordinated with the electronics and battery, so that the high efficiency of the recommended ProCore18V batteries with 8.0 Ah and 12.0 Ah can be used to their full potential. The Biturbo hammer is therefore clearly different to all previous SDS plus models: It has been optimized for larger drilling diameters and drills with a diameter of 25 millimeters 85 percent faster in concrete than the best competitor. This has been confirmed by an independent test institute. The GBH 18V-34 CF Professional combines its enormous impact energy of 5.8 Joules with optimum tool control: It weighs 5.9 kilograms and thus offers the best power-to-weight ratio of all cordless rotary hammers with SDS plus on the market. Bosch has also transferred the robust design of SDS max hammers to the SDS plus tool for complex tasks: Its replaceable keyless chuck, which also allows it to drill into masonry, wood and metal without impact, has been specially reinforced to absorb the stresses that occur. Craftsmen such as electricians, plumbers, heating and air-conditioning installers can thus rely on a robust all-rounder with top performance.

Optimized control and setting via User Interface and connectivity

The GBH 18V-34 CF Professional is the only SDS plus rotary hammer on the market with an interactive display. Professionals can always keep an eye on the tool and battery status, and therefore have full control over their tool. Value-added is also offered by connectivity functions: The rotary hammer can be simply and conveniently adapted to individual needs by means of a smartphone. Three different work modes, which can be directly selected on the User Interface, are available: “Auto” for maximum performance, e.g. when breaking through concrete, “Soft” for work with sensitive materials such as tiles or masonry, and the “Favorite” mode in which the drilling performance can be set via app. Additional functions can be configured such as a Soft Start function: Both when drilling (“Electronic Precision Control”, EPC for short) and now also for the first time when chiseling (“Adaptive Speed Control”, ASC for short), the hammer ramps up slowly to the set speed. Craftsmen can therefore set the drill and chisel with pinpoint accuracy, and work precisely. Another advantage of the GBH 18V-34 CF Professional is its high user protection thanks to Vibration Control and KickBack Control: In the event of sudden and unpredictable rotation of the rotary hammer around the drilling axis – which can occur if the drill becomes blocked in reinforced concrete – the integrated sensor shuts off the motor in a fraction of a second. This prevents unexpected kickback and can therefore reduce the risk of injury. The switch lock for continuous applications in chisel mode also serves as a transport lock.

Full compatibility in the Bosch Professional 18V System

The Biturbo hammer GBH 18V-34 CF Professional is operated most efficiently with the high-performance ProCore18V batteries with 8.0 Ah and 12.0 Ah. With the Professional 18 Volt System, Bosch ensures compatibility with new and existing power tools and chargers in this voltage class, offering craftsmen planning and cost certainty.

Bosch offers a wide range of Biturbo tools: SDS max rotary hammersangle grinders and saws. They are more powerful than all previous cordless tools from Bosch. The Biturbo hammer GBH 18V-34 CF Professional is available right now. The prices are recommended retail prices excluding VAT.
