Swedish president for worlds largest PR-network

The European branch of the world's largest PR-network, Worldcom Public Relations Group, is expanding and changing management. At the recent world congress in Lisbon, four new European partners were admitted and a Swede, Kjell Eriksson, was elected President for Worldcom Europe. With the three French additions, Kendo, Yucatan and F R I Communication and the German firm PR Hamburg, the network now includes some 30 associated partners in Europe

A Swede, Kjell Eriksson, was elected President for a two-year term. With Worldcom's Swedish partner, Lexivision, he is responsible for international concerns, and he is a media specialist in its subsidiary company, International News Service (INS), a company he founded some 20 years ago.
The Worldcom Group has approximately 100 associated partners on six continents, with about 1500 employees divided between 120 offices in three regions: The Americas, Asia/Pacific and Europe/Africa. The Group's total turnover for 1997 was US$153 million.
"The selection criteria for becoming a partner in the Worldcom Group combined with the group's geographic breadth create a unique communication opportunity for many companies, for which global resources can be strengthened by a local focus," comments Kjell Eriksson, President of Worldcom Europe.
