Een ultrastabiel behuizing- en isolatiediafragmaontwerp van EG&G IC Sensors verbetert de werking van druksensors en verlaagt de kosten. Het bedrijf geeft aan dat, vergeleken met de huidige producten, het nieuwe model 86 lineariteitfouten met 50% vermindert en temperatuurfouten beduidend terugbrengt over een veel breder gecompenseerd bereik van -20°C tot +85°C.

Ein ultrastabiles Design bestehend aus Siliziumchip und Isolationsmembran von EG&G IC Sensors verbessert die Leistungsfähigkeit von Drucksensoren bei geringeren Kosten. Das Unternehmen berichtet, daß das neue Modell 86 die Linearitätsfehler im Vergleich zu bestehenden Produkten um 50% reduziert und für eine wesentliche Verringerung von Temperaturfehlern in einem weitaus größeren kompensierten Temperaturbereich von -20°C bis +85°C sorgt.
