"Metering pumps for the oil gas and petrochemical industries"

PRESS RELEASE
June 28, 1995
Air/gas driven metering pumps for the
oil, gas and petrochemical industries

California-based Haskel International Inc. has introduced a completely new series of purpose built air/gas driven chemical injection pumps specifically designed for use in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
The CIP Series comes in five versions with output pressures of between 10 and 690 bar (160 - 10,000 psi). These can be used in customized and standardized injection systems and provide injection rates of between 0.15 and 62.0 gallons (between 0.6 and 235 litres) per day. Features include an all stainless steel construction, an integral pneumatic timer and adjustable stroke length.

Unlike many competitive pumps, the CIP series has an all stainless steel construction with 316 ss used in all wetted part sections. Available with teflon, buna, viton, neoprene, EPR and other seal packages, the pumps can be driven by either compressed air or regulated field gas and are said to be suitable for most chemicals used by the industry.
Supplied with an integral pneumatic timer, which allows precise and accurate injection rates, a stroke adjuster provides fine control of volume displacements. The drive and fluid pump sections are separate and, unlike some comparative pumps, no external lubrication is required.
In addition to the CIP series, Haskel also offers a range of pneumatic and hydraulic operated diaphragm pumps designed for injection of odorants and other difficult media. The company also specializes in the design and manufacture of complete standard and customized chemical injection skids and systems, where necessary made to NACE MR-01-75 specifications.
Founded in 1946, Haskel is one of the leading manufacturers of air/gas driven liquid pumps, gas boosters and air pressure amplifiers used in applications such as pressure testing, chemical metering, accumulator charging, valve actuation and well head safety panels. The company, which is currently in the process of ISO9001 Certification, has a worldwide marketing and distribution network with technical support available in most countries.
